Amenities Our resident rooms all have their own bath. Each room is wired for telephone service and cable TV. Our building has central air-conditioning for your comfort. We have a beauty/barber shop for your convenience. And we have a small art gallery for your enjoyment, where we exhibit the work of local artists.
Outside, the gardens and pathways on our beautiful, eight-acre property offer you some lovely, private spaces where you can take a stroll or sit and talk while you enjoy some fresh air and nature.
Activities Staying active and involved is an important part of everyone’s health and well-being. Our seven-day-a-week activities calendar will provide you with a variety of recreational activities to help keep you mentally, physically, and spiritually active—no matter what your level of mobility is.
Our schedule of activities includes gentle exercise classes, games, music, crafts, discussion groups, religious services, pet therapy, and more—all designed to keep you vibrant, energetic, and on the go. And if you have a hobby you love, you can bring that along with you.
We also have a pet adoption program. Our residents help provide foster care to cats while we find new homes for them.
And we provide opportunities for you to stay involved in the community. If you’re able and interested, you can join your fellow residents on shopping expeditions, trips to catch a SteepleCats game, museum visits, and other local outings.
Certification/Accreditation Williamstown Commons is certified by both Medicare and Medicaid. We’re also accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), a nationally recognized, independent organization that sets standards of excellence for nursing homes and other healthcare facilities.
In addition, we are proud to have signed the profession-wide Quality First pledge, which further reflects our commitment to quality, ethical care and resident safety.
